[1]Cori Bush

Happy New Year's Eve,
John!

We wanted to reach out just one last time before midnight to make sure you
saw Cori's email from earlier today.

Our end-of-year fundraising deadline is coming up in just a few hours, and
currently we're falling just 6% short. John,
you've had Cori's back through the ups and
downs of 2021, so we have to ask:

[ [link removed] ]Will you chip in $5 or more before midnight to help hit
our $100,000 goal and re-elect Cori in 2022?

[ [link removed] ]94% to goal

Political pundits, potential future opponents, and the GOP will be looking
to see what numbers we report to the FEC after tonight's deadline. We hope
you will stand with Cori to show everyone just how strong our movement is.

Please, take a moment to read Cori's email and [ [link removed] ]chip in whatever makes
sense for you to power Cori's work for bold, anti-racist, progressive
change in Congress.

Wishing you a safe, happy, and healthy New Year.

— Team Cori

Subject: My last ask of 2021
To: John [[email protected]]

John,

New Year's Eve always makes me nostalgic, and I can't help but reminisce
this morning.

Growing up, I never thought I'd get involved in politics. I dreamt of
becoming a nurse and having close friends and family. On days like today,
I laugh wondering what that little girl would think of the woman she'd
become — a mother, activist, and Member of Congress.

Today, I am proud to represent Missouri's First District in Congress.
We've accomplished so much together in our first year in office. With your
support, we introduced the Green New Deal for Cities to bring climate
investments to local communities, the People's Response Act to transform
our system of public safety, and the Keeping Renters Safe Act to give the
Department of Health and Human Services the permanent authority to
implement eviction moratoriums during public health crises.

But our work is far from over. There is still so much mobilizing we need
to do to make progress on racial, economic, and environmental justice and
represent folks who have been overlooked for far too long. That's why
we've set a goal to raise $100,000 by tonight's end-of-year fundraising
deadline.

[ [link removed] ]If you're with me in this movement, will you chip in $5
or more right now to power our organizing so we can pass the change our
communities need? Your donation will go directly to our re-election
campaign and show potential opponents we're ready for anything that comes
our way.

[ [link removed] ]Chip in $5

The challenges we've faced this past year have shown us just how important
it is we stay united in our work to save lives.

White supremacists attacked the Capitol in a deadly attempted coup.
Republicans are attempting to ban abortion, and Roe v. Wade is in jeopardy
in the Supreme Court. And still every day, people are struggling because
they can't afford rent, food, or medicine, Black and brown people are
dying at the hands of police, and the climate crisis continues to
disproportionately harm Black, brown, Indigenous, and low-income
communities.

The challenges we face are immense. But I know that when we work together,
we have the power to move mountains.

[ [link removed] ]That's why I must ask for your support again before tonight's final
deadline of 2021. If it makes sense for you, will you please chip in any
amount before midnight to help hit our $100,000 goal and start next year
in a strong position?

Thank you for all of your support.

Your Congresswoman loves you,
Cori
