John —
As we close out 2021, we just want to give a big shout out to everyone who’s supported the Innocence Project this year.
From freeing six innocent people to passing 20 new policies that will help reform our criminal legal system, it’s been a big year, and none of it would have been possible without this community — so thank you. But we aren’t over the finish line just yet.
We’ve got less than 12 hours left until our end-of-year fundraising deadline and still need to raise $12,000 to hit our goal. Will you help us get there by chipping in whatever you can before midnight?

There’s a lot of hard work to do in the year ahead to transform the system and make it truly just, but with you by our side, we like our odds.
Thank you so much for all you’ve done this year, and here’s to 2022!

Started in 1992 as a legal clinic at Cardozo School of Law, the Innocence Project is now an independent nonprofit, affiliated with Cardozo, that exonerates the wrongly convicted through DNA testing and reforms the criminal justice system to prevent future injustice.
