The U.S. Court of Appeals of the D.C. Circuit recently ruled that Congress has the right to subpoena Trump’s financial records from his accounting firm Mazars USA―including his personal and business tax returns.

Eric Trump recently said of The Trump Organization, “when my father became commander-in-chief of this country, we got out of all international business, right?"[1]
Ummmm, no.
According to their own website, The Trump Organization has business dealings in Scotland, Turkey, India, Indonesia, South Korea, Ireland, Dubai, Bali, the Philippines, Uruguay, and British Columbia.[2]
But there is one way we can settle this. Let’s see Trump’s personal and business tax returns!
Join Americans for Tax Fairness Action Fund and our allies in calling on Congress to follow the money. We demand to know how much money Trump’s businesses have received from foreign sources and from U.S. taxpayers.
According to Politico, at least one foreign government “tried to ingratiate themselves to President Donald Trump by booking rooms at his hotels but never staying in them.”[3]
And, a recent report indicates that the U.S. military and U.S. government officials―including Vice President Mike Pence―have stayed at Trump-owned overseas properties, at U.S. taxpayer expense.[4]
Is Donald Trump profiting off of his presidency? It certainly appears so.
The way we get to the bottom of this is by getting our hands on Trump’s personal and business tax returns.

The U.S. Court of Appeals of the D.C. Circuit―the second most important court in the country, right below the U.S. Supreme Court―recently ruled that Congress has the right to subpoena Trump’s financial records.[5]
When Congress reviews Trump’s tax returns, we’ll finally understand the full extent to which Trump is profiting off of his presidency, and whether he’s blatantly breaking the Emoluments Clauses of the U.S. Constitution.
