Dear friend,

Happy (almost) New Year!

As we count down the hours until midnight, I’ve been reflecting on the past year and thinking about what’s in store for Mercy Corps, our supporters, and the communities we serve in 2022.

From helping women start savings and loan groups in Kenya to building water pipelines in the Democratic Republic of Congo, we’ve helped communities in 40+ countries improve their economic futures, build long-term solutions to food and water insecurity, and create lasting change for a more stable and peaceful tomorrow.

Heading into 2022, we’re ready to mobilize quickly because our teams are already in place, ready to help when needed — but it is up to all of us to work towards a better, more just world for everyone. Will you show up for communities in crisis by making your tax-deductible gift before tonight’s midnight deadline?
Kavugho lives in Democratic Republic of Congo, where Mercy Corps is working to provide safe, clean water for nearly 1 million people.
I am so inspired by the more than 3,000 Mercy Corps supporters who have already taken action for a brighter future by making their year-end gifts. Together, we’re helping to create positive change in the year to come.
