I wrote what's below yesterday afternoon and put it up on Facebook. Given the number of people who responded with thoughts, I’d be curious to get your reaction and thoughts…

I have included a photo below of a house I walked up to and I think it's a sign of the times...and part of what I believe needs to change in politics today. A Trump flag flying above your house? Really?
Our Founding Fathers had an inherent distrust of any one man, or woman, in the political system. Accordingly they designed a nation where we were to put our faith in laws and institutions - not men.
People have always put signs out front, or a bumper sticker on their car...but flying a flag strikes me as a bit much. It leads to conversations that are like many I have had wherein issues don't matter, the debt doesn't matter...and only one thing matters - and that's whether or not you are on the Trump “team.”
...so went a part of day one here in New Hampshire...but many days to go!
Every day in life brings highs and lows - though this day is far from over as we now head towards Boston for an interview with NBC Boston.
The Trump visit did make me think about how important it is that we all stand up for what we believe in - institutions and our Founding Fathers design and so on that front, I circle back and again ask for your help. It's important and whether with $100, $50 or $25...it all adds up in helping to pay for our efforts to wake people up, create conversation and change things.
