Friend, we’re not being hyperbolic or paranoid when we say that the 2022 midterms might be the last free and fair election in U.S. history. The 147 demonstrated just how comfortable they’ve become with authoritarianism when they incited their coup attempt on January 6th. It’s no surprise that Steve Bannon is openly admitting that The 147 will reform our entire election infrastructure to their advantage if they win next November. But Steve Bannon’s eagerness to manipulate the bedrock of our democracy isn’t just shared by The 147. Dozens of states are passing voter suppression bills that will make it hard to voters and easy for conspiracy theorists to challenge democratic outcomes. While Trump’s allies in Congress do little more than obstruct the Biden agenda, their state-level allies are letting us know what’s in store if Democrats lose power in D.C. The Big Lie isn’t just dangerous spin, it’s The 147’s entire platform. Don’t take our word for it, even Steve Bannon admits that if Democrats lose in 2022 our elections will never be the same. That’s why we need 56 more first-time donors to hit our year end goals and take the fight to The 147.
