John, happy New Year's Eve!

I know that fundraising is the last thing you’re probably thinking about today… but wouldn’t you know, they put our final FEC deadline of the year on December 31st as well.

That’s why I’m still thinking about fundraising even when nobody else is. These deadlines are always a bit stressful for me and going into the most important midterm election that we’ve had in a long time, this end-of-year finance report is going to be really important.

Our report will show Republicans exactly where we stand as we head into 2022. If we submit a fundraising report that shows any sign of weakness, they will attack us even more than they already have this year. Definitely not what we want.

I keep checking ActBlue to see how many donations are coming through, and unfortunately we’re not where we need to be. I don’t even know how many people are going to see this.

So if this email reaches you with only 12 hours to go until the deadline, I’m asking personally, John: Will you make a donation of any amount to my campaign so we can hit our goal and fight back against the GOP’s attempts to flip this seat?
