This 3-part interview conducted in March 2015 provides compelling insights into the making of an animal rights activist, why boys as well as girls suffer psychic injury in male-dominated society, and how anti-factory-farming sentiment fosters false narratives and beliefs about “food”-producing animals and consumer choice.

Karen’s impromptu interview, now aired for the first time, was elegantly recorded by a student videographer during an animal rights conference at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario organized by sociology professor Dr. John Sorenson, March 9.
