Dear John,

This New Year’s Eve, we look ahead to 2022. But before the clock strikes midnight, I ask you to join us in ensuring access to safe, decent, and equitable housing for all by making your donation today[[link removed]].

I am excited to share some of the new initiatives already underway for 2022:
Legal Defense Clinics: To ensure unhoused persons unable to access public defenders on the West Coast have legal representation (in partnership with Western Regional Advocacy Project); National Campaign to End Youth Homelessness: To ensure that homeless youth in both families and unaccompanied, as well as the programs that support them, have the legal supports to succeed (in partnership with True Colors United, National Network for Youth, American Bar Association Homeless Youth Legal Network, SchoolHouse Connection and A Way Home America); Eliminating Housing Discrimination: To halt source of income discrimination and other forms of housing discrimination, which affect persons with housing vouchers and disproportionately impact Black, Indigenous, and Persons of Color (in partnership with the Poverty & Race Research Action Council and ACLU); The Foscarinis Fund Fellowship[[link removed]]: To support a civil legal aid attorney to work at the Law Center, in honor of Law Center Founder Maria Foscarinis.

And don’t forget - our pro bono partners devote thousands of hours in legal research, litigation, legislative and regulatory advocacy, and direct legal advice - with an estimated value of nearly $6.5 million in donated legal services – meaning that your gift is multiplied six-fold!

This year, we hope you will join us[[link removed]] to end homelessness and ensure permanent housing justice for all.
