In a moment, I am going to ask you to make a contribution to Robert Garcia’s campaign for Congress before midnight tonight. Please give me a chance to explain why this request is so important.

Here is the truth:

We need more people like Robert Garcia in Congress.

He is the personification of leadership by example. He not only gets it, but more importantly, he gets it done.

As Mayor of Long Beach, he was a leader in vaccination and testing efforts. It was an exceptional effort of a city at scale doing remarkable things.

And because success leaves clues, we modeled his work in municipalities across California, saving many lives.

Even when he lost his mother to the virus, he never slowed down.

Now Robert is running for Congress, and he has a midnight fundraising deadline. His first of the campaign. And when it’s over, he’s legally required to report his numbers and everyone will be watching.
