Not only is this your last chance to make a tax deductible donation in 2021, but time is running out to have your gift DOUBLED to maximize your impact for farmed animals.
We are so grateful for your support this year. With you by our side we released two hard-hitting investigations and the video The Dairy Industry: The Life of a Cow, which tells the real story of the suffering behind the dairy industry, as documented by our brave investigators.
Our legal team was hard at work in 2021 fighting for animals in the courts by defending a law against extreme confinement, fighting to stop high-speed slaughter and working to protect the most vulnerable pigs in slaughterhouses, among other life-saving initiatives.
Our corporate engagement team celebrated wins this year with food giants such as McDonald’s, Starbucks, Dunkin’ releasing several vegan options and Tyson removing all animal products from their Raised and Rooted plant-based line.
This year, thousands of people were inspired to choose plant-based foods through our annual VegWeek campaign, the Vegan Family Podcast, and our award-winning film, “The Story of Two Vegan Bodybuilders.” We also launched a humanewashing campaign to expose the truth behind misleading humane-certified labelling.
These are just a few highlights from 2021. You can learn more about what we’ve achieved together for animals by watching our full year-in-review video below.
Thank you for your wonderful support and incredible kindness.
With gratitude,
Cheryl Leahy
Executive Director
