In 2022 we have the opportunity to make history and achieve permanent and lasting protection for Boundary Waters. We are well equipped to win, with supporters like you by our side.  

We’re leading an all-out effort to achieve this goal, and next year is shaping up to be the busiest and most exciting year in our history. To achieve our goals is no small task. In 2022 we must: 

• Deliver expert scientific evidence that clearly shows copper mining on the edge of the Boundary Waters is irresponsible and would seriously harm a priceless Wilderness
• Build overwhelming grassroots support and rally thousands of people - from every corner of the state and country - to weigh in with decision makers
• Work with Congress to pass a permanent protection law for the Wilderness
• Change Minnesota’s rules so they protect the Boundary Waters watershed
• Ensure we have the best possible legal and policy strategies in place to continue engaging in key lawsuits

There is a lot going on, and the Boundary Waters needs your support to make it all happen. The Campaign to Save the Boundary Waters leads the national movement to protect the Wilderness from sulfide-ore copper mining forever.
