John,
As we near the two year mark of the start of the pandemic, it is clear that nannies, housecleaners, and home care workers are essential to our lives and our economy. They put themselves — and their families — at risk to make sure our lives and this country run smoothly.

Yet, life continues to be a deep and daily struggle for these women. Our most recent survey showed 22% of domestic workers were still out of work and 77% faced food insecurity. It is beyond time that we take care of those who care for us and we will stop at nothing to end the injustice prolonging this nightmare.

While we are ready to tackle the many challenges that face us in 2022, we are running out of time to reach our fundraising goal to gear up for the year ahead.

John — your support is the backbone of our ability to care for those who care for us, so I need to ask if you can pitch in with your most generous donation today? Thanks to a generous donor, any gift you make before midnight will have 3X's the impact.

I am humbled to watch as folks across the country make donations large and small to support NDWA and our work to transform our economy into one that centers care and works for all of us. We are inspired and led by the women of the domestic workers' movement and we are ready, with your help, to act.

In 2022, we plan to mobilize women of color voters to protect our democracy, to move forward bold policies at the local, state and federal levels that will improve protections and rights for domestic workers and immigrants, and to continue growing our movement so that this care revolution we started becomes unstoppable.

We've got a plan to succeed and live up to the legacy of the powerful domestic workers who started NDWA over a decade ago, and we need everyone to pitch in right now.

When you make your donation by midnight tonight, you will be investing in the leadership of domestic workers and in the movement to transform our communities, our economy, and our democracy. [[link removed]]

Thank you so much, for everything you do. See you next year!
