From the last holiday season to today, we endured and witnessed so much together. For many of us, especially within the LGBTQ community, finding our way through it required a support system of chosen family, friends and allies, the bravery of frontline workers, and reliable resources. And The Center’s ongoing promise, through anything our community may face, is to be that place where anyone can turn to get connected to the people and services they need to thrive.
By safely reopening the doors of our iconic building on West 13th Street, we’ve shown New York that our communal resilience is stronger than ever. We got here together. In the final hours of 2021, we ask you to please help The Center stay a beacon of hope for everyone who turns to us. Make a tax-deductible holiday gift before midnight tonight to help us meet a $75,000 matching gift challenge from a generous anonymous donor.
Thanks to your generous support of our in-person and virtual programs, you played an important role in our ability to persevere through the most uncertain of times. When you’re ready, we’d love to see you again at the heart and home for LGBTQ New York. The Center is still here…and always will be.
Hopeful wishes for 2022,
Glennda Testone
