Dear Friend,

As we step into 2022, I want to share just two of the many notes we've received from all of you on social media, via email, or as you’ve made donations. I hope these messages inspire you as much as they inspire me and all Young Center staff.

"My children, 5 and 7, wanted to have a bake sale so we decided to raise money for one of our favorite family nonprofits. My kids chose your organization and we were so grateful for the generous donations from our neighbors! Thanks for all you do!" -Patricia Wagner, Young Center Supporter

"Thank you, Young Center, for all your life-changing work on behalf of our most vulnerable communities. The world is better because of the work the Young Center does."-Katina Panagopoulous, Young Center Supporter

These brief notes of solidarity highlight the power of our community. Despite an incredibly difficult year, you all stepped up to the challenge every time we asked for help. You volunteered, you donated, you connected us to experts and resources, and you told your community about us, making the Young Center's tent bigger. Thank you. Because of you, we can look forward to another year of making change and finding safety for children together!
Happy New Year from all of us at the Young Center!

P.S. Your gift will be doubled by an anonymous donor who has generously pledged $54,000 as a challenge match – help us meet this goal!

The Young Center works with the most vulnerable unaccompanied and separated immigrant children in federal custody, so their voices are heard, and their best interests are protected. We also advocate for an immigration system that treats children as children. To learn more about work, visit ** theyoungcenter.org ([link removed])
