NBC NEWS: 'They're like soldiers': Chicago's children are learning to save lives amid the gunfire

This article from NBC News is absolutely heartbreaking.

Teenagers in Chicago are attending first responder training courses to learn how to save lives if they see someone get shot.

These children should be focused on school and their futures. Instead, they're learning to put pressure on a bullet wound, check for a pulse and begin two-handed chest compressions on a gunshot victim.

This is the America the NRA wants us to accept as normal. But we refuse. Our children deserve so much better. They deserve a safer future.
