Happy New Year’s Eve! 2022 is almost here! That means our End of Year Fundraising is coming to a close. Don’t worry, you still have time to help us reach our goal! Progress takes time and resources, so I appreciate your support. 

Wow! What a year! Both personally and professionally, this year has been a true success. Since I regularly talk about all of my professional accomplishments, I want to switch it up and talk about the personal joys that keep me going. I am blessed to have two children and a husband who I could not imagine my life without.  My biggest joy this year was watching my son grow from infant to toddler. Each day he makes me smile and laugh with his cheerful personality. I’m even grateful for the teenager! Anyone who has been through this stage of parenting can attest that it makes you stronger and more fierce. 

I do this work for my family so that my son and daughter grow up in a world where they can afford homes, healthcare and be comfortable. I’m asking you to donate for our End of Year Fundraiser, not just because I work at Battle Born, but because I truly believe that the work we do will change my children’s futures and the futures of everyone in Nevada. That is progress.
