Your donation will impact people like Hatim*. After being tortured and imprisoned in his homeland, he fled for his life to another Middle Eastern country. Because of the trauma he endured, Hatim’s hands are permanently disabled. He felt helpless, hopeless, and ashamed — unable to find work or to see much of a future for himself.
Our local team members met Hatim and provided him with meals and other basic items. They also told him about how God loves him, cares for him, and wants a relationship with him.
The next day he showed up at our team members’ office and shared this amazing testimony:
I was thinking about what you shared with me yesterday, and the room I was in became bright with a kind of light I had never before seen. And I saw a man. I asked, “Who are you?” And He said in a voice as clear as glass, “I am Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world.” And then I was alone. I’m here because I must know more.
After talking with our team members, Hatim responded to the message of Jesus, and his life has been transformed!
