Dear John,

In one of the busiest times of the year, Susan and I would like to take a moment to wish you and your family a happy and safe new year.

As 2021 comes to a close, I want you to know that I have been so grateful for the outpouring of support since I transitioned to the governor’s office in March. I’ve been reflecting on the progress we have made in my first months on the job, while also looking ahead to the work we have ahead of us in the new year.

While we have important work to do to make Rhode Island an even better place to live and work, there’s nothing we can’t do when we work together.

Thank you for supporting our great state. I couldn’t be more proud to serve as your Governor.
