As 2021 draws to a close, our work together is making a real difference for Canadians across the country – and we’re ready to keep delivering on that progress in 2022.
Our Liberal government has delivered millions of COVID-19 vaccines and rapid tests to the provinces and territories this year. We’ve signed agreements with 9 provinces and 2 territories to advance $10-a-day child care and create more quality and affordable child care spaces across Canada. And, we’ve surpassed our goal of creating 1 million new jobs.
Just this month, our Liberal government passed legislation to deliver critical support to Canadian workers and businesses – like the Local Lockdown Program – to ensure that Canadians still affected by the pandemic receive the support they need and that Canada’s economic recovery leaves no one behind.
As we finish the fight against COVID-19, we will continue delivering on important priorities that matter most to Canadians.
