John,
The end-of-year deadline is tonight at midnight, and I’m writing you today to tell you why this matters.
This is the very first time our fundraising numbers will be published by the FEC for everyone to see, meaning the pressure is on to build up as much support as possible before the ball drops.
I know, you’re probably receiving a lot of appeals asking for support, and that you likely have plenty of other things like your New Year’s plans on your mind. But my campaign is completely people-powered, and I can’t do this without you.
So please, will you contribute to my campaign before the FEC deadline tonight? Click here to donate.
When I first decided to run for office — initially for school board — it was because I thought I could bring something to the table to make people’s lives better. That same motivation drove me to run for the North Carolina state House and state Senate. And now, as I run for Congress, it is for the exact same reason — I have faith that I can lead in a way that makes the lives of people in my community better.
But running for Congress requires more resources than any of the offices I’ve run for before. We need to raise enough to compete in every part of this district and show the North Carolinians in my community that I’ll fight tirelessly for them.
This is my final request of 2021 — please, John, will you contribute to my campaign before the end-of-year deadline? Click here to donate.
My appreciation is plentiful. Have a happy and safe New Year’s Eve and a joyful start to 2022.
All the best,
Valerie Foushee
