Dear John,

As we say goodbye to 2021, I want you to know how grateful I am for all you helped us accomplish this year. Thanks to your support, the National Committee managed to stave off several legislative actions that could have weakened Social Security and Medicare. We also worked hard to provide older Americans relief from COVID-19 and improve your earned benefits.

The new year means new priorities and likely fresh attacks against the two programs that are essential to helping keep older Americans healthy and financially secure: Social Security and Medicare.

John, as someone who supports the National Committee, you understand the critical need to have a full-time advocacy force in Washington, DC fighting to protect your earned benefits day in and day out. That’s why I urge you to please make your year-end gift today!

Your donation will help us mobilize our grassroots army of concerned citizens and our advocacy and media relations staff to go to battle against the powerful and well-connected insurance and drug industry lobbyists who continue to fight against critical legislation pending in Congress that would help workers and retirees.

Every donation helps us get closer to our end-of-year $50,000 goal — SO PLEASE MAKE A GIFT RIGHT NOW. We have so much hanging in the balance in 2022 — your support will help ensure we’re prepared to hit the ground running as soon as Congress reconvenes!

On behalf of all us here at the National Committee thank you for your continued support and generosity.

Best wishes for a healthy and happy New Year,

Max Richtman
President & CEO
