• California is losing a new congressional district for the first time ever, which means we have to be ready for every scenario. These include gaining new constituents who aren’t familiar with me, adding more Republican voters who disagree with our progressive values, or facing new opponents – including potential incumbents.
  
  
• Since the beginning, I’ve never accepted a single cent of PAC or lobbyist money. I’m proud of that commitment, but it means our team can’t afford to fall short of our periodic grassroots fundraising deadlines.

• Our team set this goal of $20,000 based on our projected needs for the start of 2022, and now we have only a few hours to reach it.
