Subject: New maps, new year

 

Dear John,

 

I can’t believe 2021 is almost over! This year, we secured $500,000 for local emergency services, including a new Special Operations and Rescue vehicle for Bloomfield Township that will be used throughout Oakland County. We also resolved more than 3,000 constituent cases and questions, co-sponsored 150+ bills and resolutions, and passed 5 pieces of legislation. But let’s get to it: tomorrow is the most important fundraising deadline of our 2022 campaign.

 

This week, the Michigan Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission voted on new statehouse maps, and we now have a new district to run in that stretches from Birmingham down to Detroit along Southfield Road. 

 

With so many new communities in our district, and new folks to reach out to about the work we’ve been doing in the legislature, I’m not taking anything for granted. Our team and I have set an ambitious goal of raising $5,000 over the next two days. I’m confident we can do it–but we need your help!

Your support today will allow us to set our 2022 campaign plans in place now. We have accomplished so much together, but we still have more we can get done together!
