Here’s the dilemma: In just less than 24 hours, we’re required to submit our fundraising numbers for the final Federal Election Commission’s (FEC) end-of-quarter deadline for 2021.
Why this is important: This is our last FEC deadline before the TX-28 Democratic Primary. To show Henry Cuellar and his conservative donors how fired up folks are to send Jessica Cisneros to Congress, we must raise another $6,853 to hit our $18,000 FEC end-of-quarter goal by midnight.

This won’t be an easy race to win. Henry Cuellar has a lot of powerful backers behind his re-election campaign. Last cycle, most of his support came from the Koch donor network, Big Oil companies, the largest private prison network Geo Group, the Club for Growth (a Trump-aligned PAC), and big corporate PACs.
The only way that someone like Jessica Cisneros can win a race like this is if we completely outnumber all those rich and powerful people with tens of thousands of grassroots supporters fighting for a progressive agenda.
Last year, in spite of all the obstacles and being outspent, we came just a couple of thousand votes short of a huge upset. But this time around, we’re going to win. But only if Jessica gets support from grassroots activists like you today.
