Dear John,
Are you ready to ring in the 2022 New Year? This is a busy time, so I'll make this brief. We are just hours away from a critical deadline at Family Research Council and your help is needed.
Earlier this month, I urged our faithful supporters to help us activate a $1.5 Million Matching Challenge Grant to meet our $3 Million budget goal and finish 2021 strong. We at FRC are so thankful for all those who have stepped up to the challenge!
If you have not yet had a chance to respond, I wanted to make sure you did not miss this opportunity to have your vital, tax-deductible gift make a lasting impact in furthering our mission to advance faith, family, and freedom in 2022 and beyond!
DONATE NOW
The Lord has worked through your prayers and financial support to achieve so many victories in 2021:
- Challenging and equipping men to be servant-leaders in their homes, churches, and communities, FRC's Stand Courageous initiative has reached over 20,000 men for Christ through events, weekly devotionals, a mobile app, and more.
- Discipling believers, FRC's Stand on the Word two-year Bible reading plan has encouraged thousands of believers to be in the Word each day. Sign up now to join us as we begin the journey anew tomorrow. In addition, FRC launched our Center for Biblical Worldview to provide thought-provoking resources to help people understand how Scripture addresses public policy issues regarding life, marriage and sexuality, religious freedom, political engagement, and more.
- Standing up for unborn babies, FRC published materials to help believers dialogue with pro-abortion friends, explore the scriptural basis for valuing every life, understand the pivotal abortion-related Supreme Court cases, and expose the millions of taxpayer dollars given to Planned Parenthood every year.
- Backing grassroots efforts nationwide, FRC tracked more than 1,500 bills spanning all 50 states and Washington, D.C. on the sanctity of life, human sexuality, religious freedom, parental rights, and related issues.
- Bypassing mainstream media and Big Tech censorship, FRC reached concerned citizens through new-media initiatives. Thousands of viewers watch our weekly Pray Vote Stand broadcasts, and our inaugural Pray Vote Stand Summit gathered nearly 2,000 attendees in person and tens of thousands more viewers online.
Keep This Momentum Going
Even in these final weeks of the year as many turn their attention away from Capitol Hill to focus on the holidays, FRC was hard at work for your family.
Earlier this month, long-time political observers were stunned when we managed to stop the Left from including wildly controversial demands in the recently passed National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) -- everything from free contraception and radical transgender policies to women in the draft.
Thanks to an avalanche of almost a quarter-million emails and calls from FRC supporters like you, conservative lawmakers were spurred on to hold the line and succeeded in removing the requirement for women to register for the Selective Service at the last minute.
There's an important lesson in here for Christians who care about the political process, and that's this: we can make a big difference when we engage together.
Will we always win? No.
But sometimes, just taking a stand gives our leaders the confidence they need to fight harder. There will be times like this when we prevail even in the most unfavorable of circumstances.
But then, God didn't necessarily call us to succeed -- He called us to act. The outcome is His.
We can only do our part -- but as this debate proved, it's an important one.
No matter what 2022 has in store, FRC is positioned and prepared to continue protecting life in the womb, defending biblical marriage, opposing leftist indoctrination in schools, advancing conservative policies, and restoring religious freedom.
And your year-end partnership today will enable our work to continue and accelerate.
From all of us at FRC, thank you for standing with us and a very Happy New Year to you and yours!
