$150,000 4X Match Challenge
Dear John,
I wanted to tell you as quickly as I could that we just received an unbelievable $150,000 4X Year-End Match Challenge, which means you have one more chance to make 4X the impact in the fight to end Alzheimer's. And given this is the last day of 2021, it couldn't come at a more perfect time — as we look ahead to a new year filled with promising research and potential new methods of treatment for Alzheimer's disease, and our continued commitment to providing care and support.

Before midnight tonight, your generous gift can go FOUR times as far in the fight against Alzheimer's disease — and your gift may be tax-deductible for 2021.

As the clock winds down on 2021, our community can be proud that, together, we kept up the momentum in the fight against Alzheimer's. And that despite the challenges of the past two years, the Alzheimer's Association continued to advance the best dementia science worldwide, while also providing care and support to all those who need it.

Now, a generous donor who wishes to remain anonymous has pledged to quadruple-match ALL gifts, up to a total of $150,000, but only if we can meet this challenge by midnight tonight. Please hurry and make your gift today to provide care and support and advance vital research.

Our friend was inspired to make this pledge and have their gift benefit the Tau Pipeline Enabling Program (T-PEP), a funding initiative to accelerate drug development breakthroughs that could help mitigate the toxic effects of tau protein "tangles" in the brain. Because tau tangles are implicated in a number of neurodegenerative disorders, the research made possible by T-PEP could potentially benefit individuals living with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's disease, frontotemporal dementia and more.

Thank you for being part of our community. Before this day ends, will you please make your first donation while it can be matched 4X to bring us closer to our vision of a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia?

I'm counting on you to keep our work going strong in 2022. We are stronger together, and I know that if everyone reading this makes a year-end gift, we will achieve this match challenge and continue our work to end this devastating disease for our loved ones and friends living with Alzheimer's.

By helping to unlock this $150,000 match challenge, you'll ensure urgently needed funds will go toward providing much-needed care and support and propelling research forward around the globe, as well as fortifying our advocacy efforts and increasing awareness. It's also the perfect way to honor a loved one, while providing help and hope to everyone facing this disease.

I appreciate all you've done to further our vital work, and I hope you'll take advantage of this final chance in 2021 to help advance our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

Thank you in advance for helping make this final match challenge of 2021 a success, and for giving us a head start on the new year. With your help, we'll continue to provide care and support and advance research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure.

Happy New Year to you and yours,
