Dear Friends,
Thank you for your extremely generous support during this challenging year. Sea Shepherd is successful because of the strength, compassion, and determination of our supporters around the world - people just like you - who are committed to protecting our planet and the ocean’s vulnerable ecosystems and species.
Earlier this year, the Associated Press and Univision joined Sea Shepherd in a joint investigation into the activities of the Chinese distant water squid fishing fleet in the high seas surrounding the Galápagos. The mission exposed multiple maritime violations and has been listed as one of the Associated Press’ best investigative stories of the year. This ground-breaking mission was just one of many significant victories we achieved for the ocean in the past year through your continued support.
Today is the last day to participate in our Matching Gift Challenge. We are so close to meeting our fundraising goals for 2021, but we need YOUR help to get us there. Join the challenge today at: seashepherd.org/mgc2021
Whether you make a one-time donation or sign up for our monthly giving program, every dollar donated will have twice the impact in supporting our ships and crews on the front lines.
This Matching Gift Challenge is made possible through the generosity of James Costa & John Archibald, Rosie & Bob Heil, Ann Johnston, Ann Kobsa, Michelle Moore, Chris & Jennifer Sharp, the Tomchin Family Foundation, Rosa Venezia, the Werdegar Family, Karen Yust, and other anonymous donors.
Donate before midnight Eastern Time (ET) on December 31st to double your impact on our mission to protect the world’s ocean and those that call the ocean home.
If you’ve already donated to our Matching Gift Challenge, we offer our deepest thanks.
With you by our side, we will continue making an important difference for the ocean. On behalf of our captains, crew, and Sea Sea Shepherd staff, thank you for your steadfast support and we wish you a very Happy New Year!
