The New York Times reports that “clinics in 22 states would shut down,” barring “42 percent of American women of childbearing age” from life-saving abortions in 2022 if Brett Kavanaugh succeeds here. From there, the GOP will “ban contraceptive access entirely,” according to the Washington Post.

But if abortion rights champion Val Demings ousts Marco Rubio in Florida's Senate race, Democrats will buck Kavanaugh's Court. Demings will expand our razor-thin 50/50 Senate Majority to break Mitch McConnell's sexist filibuster and codify Roe v. Wade into federal law, guaranteeing women the right to choose.
