John --

One of the most rewarding parts of running for office is meeting with voters and learning about the issues that matter most to them.

Last week, I met a woman in Hubbard who paid nearly $200 for an inhaler, a potentially life-saving prescription. Her doctor told her that she could cross the border to Canada if she wanted to find a more affordable inhaler.

In Lehigh, I heard about over 96 days of flooding that could wipe out the town of 401 people — right now the river is 2 ½ feet higher than normal.

In Ellsworth, a town of 500 people, I spoke with voters about broadband access, rural hospitals, and fighting against the power of special interests in our politics.

As I’ve been driving in the Sioux City Sue to hear directly from folks about the issues that matter to them, the number one thing folks tell me is they don’t feel represented in Washington anymore.

John, I’m running for Congress to be your voice, so I’d like to learn more about the challenges facing you and your family. Please take a moment to take our 2020 issues survey today so I can hear what’s on your mind.

The people I’ve spoken with on our Don’t Forget About Us tour are some of the most resilient, hard-working, and kind folks I’ve ever met.

They give their all to help their families and communities, and they deserve to feel represented by a member of Congress who will fight for what matters to them.

From trade deals and abuses of the Renewable Fuel Standard to improving infrastructure, I promise to always listen and fight for everyday people, not special interests.

That includes you, because in this people-powered campaign, your voice matters. Please take this important survey today.
