More
than 795 million people around the world are experiencing hunger right
now. It’s a number that’s hard to imagine, including for me. I see
firsthand the importance of proper nutrition — especially for kids to
succeed in school — here in Kyrgyzstan where I serve as Director of
Programs.
Today, your support can help us go 2x as far as we continue working
side-by-side with communities to address the root causes of hunger, thanks
to a group of generous donors. They’ve contributed $400,000 to our
Matching Gift Challenge Fund to encourage supporters like you to match
their gifts.
[ [link removed] ]Will you make a gift before our challenge ends tomorrow at midnight?
This is an important goal that will help set us up for a strong 2022.

Since 2017, Mercy Corps has helped provide over 22.5 million hot meals in
Kyrgyzstan primary schools.
Hunger has multiple causes — and multiple solutions. That’s why we work
closely with communities to tailor an approach that works best for them.
In Kyrgyzstan, for example, fruits and vegetables are often damaged by
insects and pollution caused by outdoor drying. Mercy Corps helps
communities and schools preserve food using dehydrators, so that students
have access to nutritious meals throughout the year, including during the
winter months when harvests are low.
In the 40+ countries where we serve, we’re committed to working with
communities to address the underlying causes of hunger and malnutrition.
We know you’re here to help too.
[ [link removed] ]Please consider making a matching, tax-deductible gift today to help us
respond to ongoing challenges like global hunger in the year ahead.
We welcome donations by credit
card, PayPal, and Apple Pay.
