I just got off a call with our fundraising team, and I have some bad news: A deep dive into our end-of-year fundraising numbers revealed an unforeseen budget shortfall of more than $11,000.

Our deadline is 11:59 pm tomorrow, and with just over 24 hours to go, our entire team is making an all-hands-on-deck effort to close the gap. I’m still not sure we’ll have the capacity to pull it off in time, so I’m reaching out to our closest supporters right away to ask:

Will you rush a contribution of $10, $25, $50, or any amount that works for you right now to help us make up the difference? We already have an uphill battle ahead of us next year, and we can’t afford to start the year at a deficit.

The MN GOP wants nothing more than to take us back to the divisive, fact-free politics of Donald Trump, and they know next year’s midterm elections are their chance.

Republicans at all levels of government have doubled down on the Big Lie, spread dangerous COVID-19 misinformation, pledged to support Texas-style abortion bans, make it easier for dangerous people to get guns, and so much more.

John, we can’t let this Republican Party retake power and undo everything our DFL leaders up and down the ballot accomplished to get Minnesota on the path to coming back stronger than ever before.
