I’ve worked a lot of jobs in my life. I’ve been a corn detasseler, a Kellogg’s factory worker, and most recently, a mental health counselor here in Omaha. But now I’m ready for a new job: the first Black Congresswoman from Nebraska.

Our campaign has a major quarterly fundraising deadline tomorrow, and I’m hoping you can get us to our ambitious goal by matching our average contribution of $19.09 right away.

As a mental health counselor, I’ve gained so many skills, from serving as a patient advocate to meeting folks where they are to really listen to individuals’ needs. These skills make me uniquely qualified to represent Nebraska in Congress, but I need grassroots support from folks like you to get there.
