Team,
Georgia Governor Brian Kemp just signed partisan, highly-gerrymandered districts into law.
These maps dilute the voting power of people of color, all to help Republicans keep their grip on power in the state government and to defeat the Democratic majority in the US House. They know they don’t have the votes to win a fair fight in Georgia anymore.
Today is a sad day for our state and our democracy, but I refuse to give up.
I will continue to advocate for non-partisan redistricting and fair maps, as I always have. I need you in this fight with me, too.
I am up against my end-of-quarter deadline in just a matter of hours, and your support is needed now more than ever.
Please, chip in any amount right now to fight back against Republican gerrymandering and help me continue to fight for our democracy in Congress for years to come >>>
