We're working hard to meet tomorrow's FEC deadline because my district is a GOP target, and we expect it to be competitive in 2022. If IL-06 goes red, the Republicans will almost certainly take the House, any chance we'd have of making progress for the American people would be gone.

Here's some of what we'd face under a GOP House majority:

-Attacks on workers' rights and efforts to restrict the power of unions
-Restrictions on a woman's right to choose
-Potential cuts to Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and childcare
-A barrier to any further legislation to meaningfully address climate change
-Further attempts to undermine our democracy and zero action to protect voting rights

I won't back down from fighting for IL-06 every day and twice on Sundays. And while Republicans will gladly take the help of special interest mega-donors, I don't accept any donations from corporations, Big Pharma, or the fossil fuel industry. Instead, I'm counting on small-dollar donors like you.

Democrats need to hold on to every competitive seat in 2022. So between now and Election Day, I need strong supporters like you with us at every critical moment.
