Dear NRDC Activist,

As NRDC's Chief Counsel, I've litigated countless cases on behalf of the
environment. I can tell you right now with full confidence: the court
cases we're pursuing in 2022 will shape the health and future of our
planet for generations.

Our caseload is piling up with fights to save wildlife from extinction,
protect critical pollinators and the future of our food supply, support
communities as they seek environmental justice, and stave off a climate
catastrophe. [ [link removed] ]And we can really use your help.

[ [link removed] ]Will you donate just $5
to NRDC and fuel our efforts to win these
fights and protect our environment on all fronts? Until midnight tomorrow,
every dollar will be MULTIPLIED by four, up to our $400,000 goal.

Earlier this year, we won a hard-fought court case to halt Trump-era
regulations that would have given a near free-pass to coal-fired power
plants to continue spewing climate-busting carbon pollution.

In 2022, the Supreme Court will hear an appeal to overturn this decision,
and our legal team is in full preparation mode for this monumentally
important case now.

When NRDC's community of supporters stood with us during the Trump
administration's assault on our environment, we scored victories in
roughly 90% of the resolved cases.

Now that same team of lawyers and scientists needs your help — because
these next 6 to 18 months are truly a make-or-break moment for planet
Earth.

[ [link removed] ]I'm asking you to back our team as we head to court to fight for our
climate, wildlife, wildlands, frontline communities, and more by making a
tax-deductible gift of just $5
to NRDC's Year-End Campaign.

On behalf of NRDC's lawyers, scientists, and policy experts, thank you for
your generosity. We can't do this work without your help.

Sincerely,

Mitch Bernard
Chief Counsel, NRDC

Donations will be used to fuel NRDC's work to protect the environment in
the most effective way possible.

The mission of the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) is to
safeguard the Earth: its people, its plants and animals, and the natural
systems on which all life depends.
