Poll workers will be wearing masks, practicing social distancing, and sanitizing voting booths and common areas throughout the day. ExpressVote equipment will be available to every eligible voter during Early Voting at all seven Early Voting sites in the upcoming Special Elections. "Voters will enjoy the increased security, easy-to-use technology, reduced risk for marking errors, and greater accessibility that ExpressVote offers. Additionally, your Elections Office benefits from the reduced costs of consumables compared to traditional paper ballots. It's a win-win for Palm Beach County," said Wendy Sartory Link, Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections. Watching our Board of County Commissioners The last meeting was on Tuesday, December 7th. Please see a complete video of the meeting with the following link. Live Video of the Dec 7th Meeting Watching our School Board Dec. 15th School Board Meeting At this meeting Palm Beach School District had K-12 reproductive health and disease education instructional materials introduced for future adoption. This material violates Florida Statutes, such as FS 847.001 paragraph (3) “Child pornography” means any image depicting a minor engaged in sexual conduct, as well as 6, 8 and 10 plus FS 847.012 paragraphs 3a, 3b, 5 and 6. Parents, including Jen Showalter, Candidate for Palm Beach County School Board District 6, spoke at the board meeting on this item. The board's only response was that to announce taht it is a federal mandate to teach this material. That's not accurate, because a large portion of what they are teaching violates Florida Statutes. They are going light years beyond what a traditional sexual education class is supposed to cover. (Submitted by Jen Showalter). For more details watch Dec 15th Meeting Video. Meetings are open to the public. Please attend!
