Friend, From myself, my wife Lori, and sons Ethan and Garrett, we wish you and your family a Happy New Year! I hope you've been enjoying this time around the holidays with family and friends—it's a special time to reconnect and take a moment to reflect. As I think back to the holidays when I was serving in Iraq and wasn't able to spend time with loved ones, it truly makes me thankful for the brave men and women serving overseas or in the armed forces fighting to keep us safe, for the first responders who give and put so much on the line for the communities they serve, and for fellow veterans who sacrificed to serve our country. We are blessed beyond belief to be Americans and what unites us is so much more than what divides us. I'm excited to continue the fight to renew Illinois in 2022 and I hope you're excited to be part of this movement as well! I wish you and your family a Happy New Year.
