Thanks to the generosity of grassroots supporters like you, along with a contribution from the Ken & Ashley Lee Foundation, OCA-Asian Pacific American Advocates has raised more than $38,000 for our youth and advocacy programs—meaning that we’re officially 25% to our goal of $150,000!

But with only a few more days remaining in 2021, we’re far from where we need to be to fully fund our policy work next year. OCA relies on individual donations to continue our advocacy—including efforts to combat anti-Asian hate, promote AAPI history in K-12 schools, and protect our communities during the pandemic.

Your contributions also fund our youth development programs, including the largest paid summer internship program for AAPI students in Washington, D.C. Falling short of our $150,000 goal means fewer interns in 2022—and reduced opportunities to create a government that reflects our communities.
