“First of all, I have to say how much I appreciate what you and EMET are doing, and how important it is to have someone, like yourself, who speaks the truth in Washington.”
― IDF Brigadier General (res.) Yossi Kuperwasser
“Courageous.” “Bold.” “Out of the Box.”
Those are some of the words that people have used to describe EMET. Ever since we were first established during the days when most people believed Yasser Arafat was a peacemaker, we were not afraid to ask the tough questions and to speak truth to power.
In the 16 years since our founding, we have never been accused of being “politically correct” or of “just going along just to get along.” And we have never stopped asking those tough questions
Now the stakes are higher than ever before:
-
Iran is perhaps weeks away from nuclear breakout. Members of the Biden administration and the international community still think it will be solved by a deal to relieve Iran of all nuclear sanctions, which would pave the wave for them to have a nuclear bomb with international consent within nine short years.
-
Hezbollah’s arsenal has up to 150,000 missiles, at least 100 of which have been converted into precision-guided munitions that can reach precisely into critical places of Israel’s national infrastructure.
-
An increased wave of Palestinian terror attacks has hit the streets of Israel and Hamas claims victory for the war it launched on Israeli citizens from Gaza in May
-
The United Nations Human Rights Council is about to launch an investigation into Israel’s behavior during that defensive war, in what we know will be a kangaroo court.
EMET is working assiduously on all of these issues and more. We meet with members of Congress or staffers nearly every day. We reach into everyone’s living rooms with informative seminars for the public at large with some of the greatest foreign policy experts in the world.
But we cannot do it alone. EMET needs your support. There are only two days left to give to EMET in 2021. Please reach into your pockets and give as much as you can comfortably can.
Thank you very much and warmest wishes for a happy and healthy 2022,
Sarah Stern
