John,
This week, the Virginia Supreme Court approved the congressional districts
that will represent Virginia citizens for the next decade.I am excited to
announce that I will be running for reelection in Virginia’s redrawn Sixth
District to lead the charge in taking back the House and retiring Nancy Pelosi!
I am glad that the Sixth District will include so many of the communities I’ve
served since being elected in 2018. With change brings new opportunities, and I
look forward to introducing myself to the new voters added to VA-06 including
the Counties of Winchester, Covington, and Salem. However, I am disappointed I
will no longer have the privilege of representing so many friends and neighbors
in Amherst and Bedford Counties and the City of Lynchburg.
Virginia made a resounding statement in 2021: we are not satisfied with the
disastrous results of one-party Democrat control, whether in Richmond or in
Washington. With your help, Republicans will replace Nancy Pelosi as Speaker
and restore sanity and good governance to the People’s House!
To do this, we must defend the Sixth District. Already, two far-left socialist
candidates have announced they are running for this seat to help Nancy Pelosi
and Joe Biden implement the failed policies that have caused so much harm to
America after just one year of Democrat control in Washington. We cannot allow
this to happen!
I am confident the momentum which began in Virginia in 2021 will be carried
