On Tuesday, Mia announced a $25,000 grassroots fundraising goal to close out 2021 that would allow us to report a strong end-of-year public filing and make the necessary preparations as the race for governor heats up.
48 hours later, the response from this team has been outstanding — with so many of you stepping up with $5, $25, or even $100 at a time to help us chip away at our goal. But we still have some ground to make up before our deadline expires tomorrow night.
We know these fundraising goals and deadlines may sound random, but the truth is, they have real consequences for our team — reaching our targets or coming up short is the difference between launching an advertisement, hiring field organizers, or purchasing campaign materials.
And without mega donors to lean on, we’re relying solely on grassroots supporters like you to keep Mia in the fight and deliver the change South Carolinians deserve.
