AUBURN PREPARES FOR A BRIGHT NEW YEAR!

The City of Auburn is preparing to say “farewell” to 2021 and ring in a bright new year at its third annual “New Year’s Auburn” celebration on December 31st.

Main Street & Festival Plaza, will be the scene for Maine’s biggest and best free outdoor New Year’s celebration. With a full-sized stage, placed right in the middle of Main Street, New Year’s Auburn will feature two incredible local bands.

The truly legendary disco party band, Motor Booty Affair, will kick things off and get everyone in the mood to celebrate. And Maine’s premier alternative rock band - Hello Newman – returns for their third consecutive New Year’s Auburn performance. This hugely popular band, which plays essential 90s and 00s alternative rock, ska, rap, and swing, will play until the clock strikes midnight.

Food trucks will be on-site, and local beers (and wine) will be served up by the friendly folks from Gritty’s, Side by Each Brewing Company, Lost Valley Brewing, Mason’s Brewing Company, and Craft Brew Underground. And the nearby Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch is offering a special “Shake Your Booty” rate for New Year’s Auburn attendees.
