Dear neighbor,
As the new year approaches and we draw near two years of the COVID-19 pandemic, I find myself reflecting on the hardships and the bright spots of service and solidarity in our community.
You're been with me throughout it all.
Together, we helped thousands of people connect to life-saving resources, like rent relief. You've helped us raise $75,000 in direct aid for families working in the local entertainment and hospitality industry through Night Life Line. Together, we supported nurses at West Penn Hospital as they negotiated their first contract.
In Harrisburg, I brought back millions of dollars for community-driven projects like conserving Girty's Woods and helping Etna start a library. Together with my progressive colleagues, we organized for a people's budget and introduced legislation that centers on working families.
Thank you for being there for our community. Now I am personally asking for your help. In 2022 I must run for reelection again, and with the new lines, the district is nearly 70% new. So I'm asking you to be with me the entire 2022 and become a monthly donor.
Even though we haven't been physically together most of the year, I'm grateful for you being a part of my work in the community. Only together can we continue to build a Pennsylvania for us all.
