Hello! My name is Wynne Winter. I’m Tom’s mom. I’m beyond proud of the campaign he’s running. Tom was raised to have empathy and understanding for others, to speak up and out against hate and injustice, and to always lead with kindness.

When Tom first told me he was considering running for Congress, I was all in from day one. Montanans are working as hard as ever but don’t have the same opportunities to provide for themselves and their children as we did for Tom and his siblings. It’s been nearly a year since the insurrection, and it feels like our communities are only growing further apart.

My son is ready to put in the tough work to give our democracy a chance. Tom is a hardworking, courageous person, with a huge heart, who will seek solutions to solve problems, particularly in challenging times, and bring us together. He knows the future of our country is at stake if we don’t defeat corrupt politicians like Ryan Zinke.

But if Tom is going to have a shot at winning this race, he’s going to need help from a lot more than just his dear old mom! He tells me he’s about halfway toward their $25,000 FEC fundraising goal. That’s why I’m asking you to make a donation of $3 to his campaign before the deadline hits tomorrow.

I check in with Tom every afternoon to get an update on the campaign. He and his dog Gary have been traveling the western part of the state for the last few days. It’s been so heartening to hear what Tom has learned from folks who care just as deeply for Montana, and our country, as we do.

From Missoula to Kalispell and everywhere in between, Tom has been meeting with neighbors to listen to their concerns, ideas and their hopes for the future. Montanans want, and deserve, fair wages, homes, healthcare, and education. Together, I believe with all my heart that we can do this!
