It’s a great day to be a Democrat and this is only the beginning. Last night, we saw what’s happening across the nation. Voters like you stood up to cast their ballot – and we won. One year out from the 2020 election, we sent a clear message.

In Virginia, both the State House and Senate flipped. Democrats control the Legislature for the first time in decades with a Democrat already in the Governor’s seat.

In Kentucky, we saw what 2020 will look like. Trump won the state by 30 points in 2016 but last night, Kentucky elected a Democrat governor with huge voter turnout.

That’s not all. We picked up seats in local elections across the country. But how did it happen?
