I'll be honest, friend: when I think about the stakes of this race, I get worried.

Republicans made major gains in Jennifer's district during last month's election, and the NRCC promptly added VA-10 to its target list. If Republicans defeat Jennifer, they'll almost certainly have taken the House majority. And here's what we'd face from a GOP House majority:

-Efforts to subvert democracy in the next election
-Science-denying extremists in charge of committees that are supposed to help protect our environment
-Dangerous brinkmanship with government funding and the debt ceiling
-A hard barrier against any legislation that boosts working families, protects rights, and expands opportunity

I'm turning my fear of this into motivation to work harder than ever to ensure that it doesn't happen. And the first step is getting Jennifer to her FEC goal by tomorrow night's deadline.

It's important that we put up as strong a number as possible, because all of our opponents will see what we raise. Chip to now so we can make up our current fundraising deficit of $10,522 >>
