Friends,
All eyes are on Louisiana now. Last night, voters in Kentucky sent a strong message by electing Andy Beshear as the next governor. They showed that national Republicans can't simply flood states with money to win elections.
This result in Kentucky means that all of the special interests are going to redouble their efforts here in Louisiana. We're expecting a flood of outside money, along with rallies with national Republicans to try to buy this runoff for Eddie Rispone.
But for us, this isn't about partisan politics. This is about putting Louisiana first, and sending a message that folks want to continue the progress we've made.
We need you, friend, to join us in our get-out-the-vote effort. We need folks to knock on doors and make phone calls to voters. Will you join us?

There's one thing that's always more powerful than money -- and that's your voice. In a close election, the conversations that you have on the phone or at the door can be the difference between winning and losing.
Let's not wake up the day after the runoff and wish we had done more. Join us today and sign up to volunteer for our campaign.
Thank you for standing with me,
Governor John Bel Edwards
