Terror from the air: Earlier this year, terrorists in Gaza fired more than 4,300 rockets at Israel over just 11 days. Twelve Israelis were killed (ages 5 to 80). Hundreds more were injured. Millions spent days and nights in bomb shelters. Beyond rockets, Israelis also now face a growing danger from armed attack drones, which Iran has been smuggling to Hamas and Hezbollah terrorists.
Terror on the ground: Iran is working to consolidate a land bridge linking Iran—through Iraq, Syria and Lebanon—to Israel’s borders, facilitating the regime’s transfer of weapons and terrorists to Israel’s doorstep.
Terror below ground: Since 2014, Israel has destroyed over 50 Hamas terror tunnels. Yet the danger of Israelis being kidnapped or attacked via tunnels under the Gaza border remains. Earlier this year, UNRWA admitted it found a new attack tunnel under one of its schools in Gaza. And Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar said Hamas still has a majority of its tunnel network beneath the Gaza Strip.
