Bad news, friend.

Neonics, the world’s most widely used class of pesticides, have already been linked to massive declines in bee populations, but now new research suggests these highly toxic pesticides may also harm migrating birds and white-tailed deer.

Scientists in South Dakota found that neonics, short for neonicotinoid, are likely responsible for serious birth defects in white-tailed deer, raising alarms over potential harm to human health.

The EU banned these pesticides last year because of their effect on key pollinators like bees. But the U.S. is still caving to the pesticide industry.

We urgently need to take action on these pesticides to protect our environment and our health! Do you have a minute to help us make our plans?

Complete EWG’s quick survey on toxic pesticides to help EWG set our priorities for our pesticide work in 2020.
